 | Get started with MSN Messenger |  |  |  | |  | Start Messaging! |  |  |  | Get a .NET Passport |  | Sign in to MSN Messenger - Double-click the MSN Messenger icon at the bottom of your screen.
- Enter your .NET Passport address
|  | Fill up your contacts - Choose Contacts.
- Choose Add a Contact.
- Type in the e-mail address of anyone you want to instant message with who also has MSN Messenger
|  | Start messaging! - Choose Actions
- Choose Send an Instant Message, and you’ll get to pick from your online contacts
- When the conversation window pops up, start typing!

- If you clicked Cancel when the dialog box appeared, download Messenger again.
- If the download was stopped before it was complete, download Messenger again.
- If you clicked Save when the dialog box appeared, either:
- Find the file named SetupDl.exe, SETUPNT.exe or SETUP9X.exe on your computer, and then double-click the file to start the installation process.
— OR— - Download it again and click Open when the download dialog box appears.
